Did anyone else know about THIS!? This theater looks kickass!

Funny related story: yesterday, i'm eating lunch at Taco Bell on Beach & Artesia. A couple of out-of-town guys ask me if there's a mall or something to do around here. I say, well, there's the Buena Park Mall up Beach at La Palma (to the left), but it's pretty weak-sauce, dinky, ratty, old....so just go to Knott's.
Little did I know that hole was being transformed into the next kewl new thang. I'm so there!

Krikorian looks great. Have you heard of Beverly Cinema in LA? It's a little rickety, but dirt cheap, and plays cool movies. I went out a couple weekends ago and watched a Cary Grant double feature. Looks like hey have lots of Indy stuff, too. http://www.michaelwilliams.com/beverlycinema/

I've not yet been to the Beverly, but I've been posting what it's playing every weekend for the past 2 years in my weekly movie posts of what's playing in the theaters. You should check them out sometimes. There are other theaters as well that play some pretty cool stuff. One day, when I get a free day (I guess after I'm married?), I really want to go catch a double-feature there.
