Improvement?
I need to post quickly so I can get out of the office for the weekend. Man, I've been so productive this week, and my eyes are all red from all the data entry I've done. I'm ready to rest, but of course, I've got to go work out.
And working out seems to be going better this week, for the most part. I have been adding jogging to my routine each day. It's not a lot, but it's a start. I'll jog half the Creek Park and walk the other half. Or I'll jog every other lap on the track. That, in addition to the weight machines and routine I was given from the physical therapist seem to be doing well.
My back was really sore on Tuesday after trying it out, but I think that's mostly my muscles reacting to the unexpected change in routine. I have been doing elliptical until now, but really, that machine is fun but doesn't do much for me. I could feel all of my muscles responding so much more when I jogged my slow little jog.
After trying it out several days this week, my hip is actually reacting more than anything else, and that may just be because I haven't done enough physical therapy exercises with it in the past few weeks. Here's to hope for the future!
I hope you all have a great weekend. I'll be baking a cake for my mom's birthday and celebrating with the family. Yay. Hopefully some more fun things will surface as well!
