Hey there. How was the weekend for you? (As if anyone ever comments about that.) Mine was pretty good, I guess. On Friday I went to see 500 Days of Summer, shopped, and then met up with Ric's uncle's family visiting from Iowa for dinner before we all went to see Harry Potter. We really didn't get to visit very much, but it was nice to see them.

Saturday we helped the Andersons move to Bonsall, which is near Vista and Oceanside. I mostly got to clean, entertain the kid, and lift light items. We're happy for them and their new home.

Sunday I made a mad dash in the morning to gather donuts and drinks for church, since it was our turn to bring snacks to class and I hadn't had enough time to bake something on Saturday. We went to church and then spent almost the entire day relaxing at home since Ric was so tired from the move. We did head out to Ruby's for a snack in the evening and visited Target, but that's about it.

Yesterday my office went to Irvine Regional Park for the day, for our staff retreat. There are pictures here. We had a good time. I enjoyed the paddle boats the most, I think!

This week we've got movie night with the Agadonis on Wednesday, I'm going with a bunch of friends to the fair on Friday, and we're going to Joe's wedding on Saturday.

Health updates: Grandpa is probably going to have surgery this week to clear out his arteries since a partial blockage is what caused his stroke. Grandma continues to be about the same. My back seems to be doing well lately, and so I'm trying to start stepping up my activities (carefully). We'll see how it goes! I have my 6 month checkup in a couple of weeks.
