Last Short Friday
Today's the last short Friday of the summer (we get half days but get paid for full ones). I think we all subconsciously were aware of this when we dressed ourselves this morning, because about a third of the office dressed in mourning apparel. One coworker and I both said we had put on two other shirts this morning but decided to go with black. Our boss also brought in donuts to soften the blow, and another coworker brought in hot apple crisp.
At least Black Friday (the first long Friday) next week won't be so bad, because we'll be having our closing ceremonies at lunch on Friday.

How is it that I missed this photo being taken? I wasn't wearing black, but I was wearing dark grey...close enough! Our subconscious sure is a funny thing.

Josh - I wear color these days, get with it! Amy - we decided on black-only since there were so many of us who wore the EXACT same thing. We did think of you though!
