What a Week!

This week is turning out to be a dramatic one.

We need to make some decisions, because the landlord wants to sell the house we're living in, just about a month after we moved in. It's going on the market tonight. If it doesn't sell or they sell a different property, they could take it off the market. We're just not so sure we're up for hanging out to see what happens after getting treated this poorly, especially with potential buyers wanting to come check out the house with all our stuff in it. Add up all the money and time spent on this move, and we're a bit upset, to say the least.

That was today. Tomorrow, my dad starts dialysis because his kidneys are only functioning at 11%. He'll be on it until he dies. How long that will be depends on how well he takes care of himself physically and emotionally, which leaves me doubtful. It's basically going in to have a machine clean your blood three times a week for about 4 hours each time.

Either tomorrow or Saturday, my nephew is coming into town for a visit too.

And a possible big development (not pregnancy or job-related) could be announced soon too, but just in case it doesn't happen, I'll wait on talking about it.

To think, I thought it would be a boring week. I sort of wish it had been.

brendomanWow, didn't know things weren't going so well on the home front. Phil and Janelle had to move out of their house they were renting after a month for similar reasons. No fun. Sorry to hear about that.

KristenI'm so sorry to hear that, Jeri! Not only do you feel disregarded, but you also have your dad nto doign well. That's really rough. I'll be praying for you and your family.

I might need to add a footnote, so you don't worry too much, that I don't have a close relationship with my dad. So, while I don't wish him ill, his situation isn't causing me a lot of stress. I do feel sorry for him that he has to go through that process, though. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
