Just a quick hello! This morning I got up early and went with Erika, her mom, and her sister to the L.A. Flower Market to get flowers for her wedding. Brings back a lot of memories! Grace! So we bought out certain flowers in a few places, in yellows, purples, fuschias, and tomorrow we're stuffing them all in pumpkins for the centerpieces. The rehearsal and dinner are tomorrow, and the wedding is Sunday. I'm excited.

I found comfy shoes at Target, but the heels were wood-colored, so I taped it up and spray-painted them black. Voila! Comfy bridesmaid shoes. I've just got to get all my wedding stuff in one bag and have it ready-to-go for Sunday. Oh, and I need to wrap her gifts.

The wedding is at one on Sunday, at Swiss Park. The ceremony is outdoors, so here's hoping for good weather!

We went to another Kings game last night with tickets from Ric's work - just a few rows from the ice! It's cool to be close-up and see the players' faces, etc., but it's harder to see the flow of action. I had a great time even though we lost (badly), and the guy who sat behind us was hilarious with his commentary.

A new regime begins Monday with the Chiropractor - only 2 times a week! I guess I've made some progress. They're going to start giving me massage therapy, and I'm looking forward to it. This will save us a lot of money too, since I only have to go twice a week and the massages cost less than the adjustments. Wohoo!

I've also started doing a secret-sister thing at work. I bought flowers this morning at the market for my secret sister. It's a long commitment (the whole school year), but I really feel like I should be more involved around here, and it really isn't that hard to send a little word of encouragement or pick up a trinket at the grocery store seasonal aisle once in a while. I even made an anonymous email account to share news/greetings with her. Should be fun, especially since she and I seem to be polar opposites! :)

As soon as the wedding's over, we've got two days to plan for Boston and then we're outta here. I'm excited. The next two-ish weeks should be insane and fun at the same time!
