Family Guy Movie: The Untold Story of Stewie Griffin

stewie, meet stewie

Well as far as movie technique goes, I can't really critique this, can I?

Basically, this is three Family Guy episodes glued together and called a movie. The funny one for me was about Stewie getting a glimpse of himself as a grown man and trying to alter his life.

Funny, although the opening sequence is rather weak.

RicThe whole movie was weak. And it wasn't three episodes back to back! It just wasn't very linear at parts. I dunno. Family Guy is starting to get stale. They need to stop using the same exact gags over and over and over again. I swear it feels like watching an episode of SNL. "Okay, this week we're going to have billy throw up on a little boy and it will be funny. Next week, Billy will throw up on a nun. Then, Billy can throw up on a cat." Uh...Yeah. Kinda like that.

JonathanAfter being initially dubious, I've started enjoying American Dad more than Family Guy. I've only seen a few episodes but they're a bit more surprising. And the few Republican jokes are so silly that they lack the sting of satire that South Park has.

jeriI just don't get American Dad at all. Not funny to me in the least. On the Simpsons this week, the Simpsons went to Italy, and eventually the Italian guidebook to American fugitives shows up, and under Plagiarismo there's a picture of Peter Griffin, then under Plagiarismo del Plagiarismo there's a picture of American Dad. That cracked us up!
