courtney did it

Wow. I just went to look online for a picture of Kurt Cobain and found some horrid images that could or couldn't be actual pictures of his blown up head. I think I'm going to throw up.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that, although he wasn't the most spectacular musician that ever lived, his band did change the direction of kroq forever (for the worse in my opinion, even though I liked Nirvana), and I liked his music.

I think I'll always remember where I was when I found out he died. It's kind of like the JFK marker of my youth. I can't believe i't 10 years ago today that they found him.

All those decades of rock music making steady progress (Beatles were better that Bill Haley, Zepplelin were better than the Beatles, etc) and then it all went backwards and rock has never recovered. Has there been any real rock stars since then? Not very many. Kurt killed rock and I hate him for it. When I found out he died, I went "meh" and went on with my day. I didn't hate him as much then as I do now because it's been ten years later and we still are bombarded with crappy rock bands thanks to him. My only wish is that he HAD lived and Nirvana would have evolved into just another fat burned out irrelevant alternative band like Bush. At best they would have had Melvins-like status, which is actually what Cobain actually wanted in the first place.

How about HERE is not the place. Here I am writing a nice little thing about him, and you bring in the same complaints that you've been spreading around bubbs for years. I've heard it before, and I don't think it's respecftul of you to me to bring your complaints here when I'm trying to just write a simple and nice post about him..
