Apparently my brother has joined this church. I am very scared at what they are going to do to him. Before this church he was an atheist who never read the Bible! He had never read the Bible on his own, so of course he’s going to believe any interpretation they have for the scripture. But now he’s trying to force these beliefs on the rest of his family. Yesterday he was calling me ignorant and satanic for not believing what he was talking about. Soon he’s probably going to not want to talk to me anymore because I’m supposedly “satanic.” I really want him to get out of there, before they turn him into a brain mushed zombie whose money is totally gone, and then he’s living on the streets homeless. Okay, sure if you want to go to church on Saturday and celebrate the Passover, then whatever, that doesn’t bother me. But worshipping some crazy Korean guy?!!! REALLY??? Why would Jesus come a second time to a country that doesn’t have much global relevance? If Jesus wanted to make a huge impact, then he would have been born in the US or the Middle East again (which needs a 2nd Jesus badly) (By the way, the Earth is round, so east of Jerusalem could mean the US.). I’m sure Jesus would have the power to decide where he was born. Asia is only referred to the East, because that’s what it was when the world was flat, and the Americas were not yet discovered. As a spherical Earth, there is no stopping point for “East.”

Wonderful blog! Do you have any tips for aspiring writers? I’m planning to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you suggest starting with a free platform like Wordpress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m totally confused .. Any ideas? Thank you!

Wow. I am absolutely LOVING this. Just came across this post written in 2005. Current year is now 2012. I have been following the cult for a year now after a friends conversion. The cult is saying their numbers have reached 1.45 mil. This cult came in to this board, did a fake complete conversion of a member on the page, played emotional bully, gave comfort to those who were able to satisfy their intense emotions, ran circles around their own arguments so many times I am almost certain they cant be convinced of their own words, and avoided almost every single question asked of them. Cult behavior is always so fascinating but this one is hitting on all the cliche’s. Great job guys!

hiii Admin..sounds like you are angry and yes we can not compare you COG to any other church because it’s CULT,not a church, if it was a church it should have called church of christ ROM16:16.
i am sure when they got you, you were not much of bible reader (and guess still not)or just didnt understand the bible,
Why do we dont celebrate the passover, and can you really celebrate the passover, the answer is NO.!!!!
1Corinth 5:7 Says our passover lamb has been sacrficed once, leave the old yeast.!!!!
i hope since your church do celebrate the passover so they must be celebrating they must be sacrfising an animal,i hope they dont worship Christ, like jews Saducees and Pharasees and muslims,or may be they dont want to because your “Christ” is not the same one as ours,Our lord Jesus Christ is a living god, not yours died cause he had blood clot in his brain, our Christ Jesus
is alive, and “death has no domanion over HIM” ROMANS 6:9,
Old tastement does command us to worship on saturday, no need anymore because jesus is the lord of sabbath matt12:8,Col 2:16-18, let not anyone teach you what to eat and what to drink in regars with festivals, newmoon festivals, sabbath, cause our lord jesus christ is the substance.
and can you really hold sabbath sit seventh whole year sitting home just woshiping with YOUR family, i dont think so…and jesus broke the sabath and his deciples too and David with his companion MARK 3:23,3:6.
and about sunday worshipig, paul gathered up the offerings on the first day of the week, 1Corinth16:1-2, sunday is called “Lord day” of course you dont worship living christ but the dead one so, where you finish worshiping we CHRISTIANS STAR!!!, it has been since A>D> 70s that sunday was the day of worship , in homes when people like you Saducees and pharasees was not believeing that christ was not there and he was sacrficed.Jesus Christ asked for faith and not the law, Gal 3:10, the one who is under the law is cursed,
john 1:17, moses gave law but the truth and grace came through Jesus Christ,
Rom 3:20 20 Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.
Isaiah 1:13 - God begins to reveal His displeasure with the Sabbath.
Matt. 28:1; Mark 16:2,9; John 20:1,19- the Gospel writers purposely reveal Jesus’ resurrection and appearances were on Sunday. This is because Sunday had now become the most important day in the life of the Church.
Acts 20:7 - this text shows the apostolic tradition of gathering together to celebrate the Eucharist on Sunday, the “first day of the week.”
Luke documents the principle worship was on Sunday because this was one of the departures from the Jewish form of worship.
2 Thess. 2:15 - we are to hold fast to apostolic tradition, whether it is oral or written. The 2,000 year-old tradition of the Church is that the apostles changed the Sabbath day of worship from Saturday to Sunday.
Heb. 4:8-9 - regarding the day of rest, if Joshua had given rest, God would not later speak of “another day,” which is Sunday, the new Sabbath. Sunday is the first day of the week and the first day of the new creation brought about by our Lord’s resurrection, which was on Sunday.
Heb. 7:12 - when there is a change in the priesthood, there is a change in the law as well. Because we have a new Priest and a new sacrifice, we also have a new day of worship, which is Sunday
