Thank you for the B-day greetings! I appreciate the fact that you did not mention my age…..always leave them guessing :]
Thanks to Nana and Granddad for the pecans that Kelly and Lucas sent to us. We had pecan encrusted salmon drizzled with honey tonight for dinner. Chef Jeff came up with the recipe. Yummy!
We had incredible January weather today….51 degrees. When I was younger I used to wish for a blizzard for my birthday so that we wouldn’t have school. Only happened once that I remember. Being somewhat older and wiser now, I’ll take the warmer weather any day!!

Have you made anything else with the lemons? You might ask Keith for some suggestions, as he knows a lot of good tips and recipes.
I went to the foot doctor today for a checkup, Grandad told the dr. that he and John could have taken the bunion off with the cattle dehorners. The doc said it would probably work but would not be very good on me. I got all the bandages off and can see the pin in the end of my big toe. Next week I get the stitches out, the next the pin gets yanked out, as I remember on the other foot, it did smart somewhat. My toe was almost like an earthquake in jello. But I will have a beautiful straight foot. The boot really tires me out, now you know what your mother went through.
Did Wembley laugh at the funnies?.
The funnies came today in the mail…Wembley enjoyed them very much. I have made some lemon cookies, but not much else yet. I hope your toe feels better and isn’t too sore!
