So as my previous post said, I had about a two hour surgery on my shoulder. So right now my shoulder is really swollen and has a three to four inch incision on my shoulder, and it is going to be a really cool scar. Of course on tuesday, I had to get up early and not eat or drink anything. Then at the hospital, I sat in my room for an hour before they took me down to the Operating room. In the operating room, the only thing I remember is the doctor saying, we are giving you the anesthetic, and the next thing you will know is that you will be in the recovery room. And that is what happened.
After waking up in the recovery room, I was moved my room I was going to stay in. There, the nurse gave me Percocet. I fell asleep for about an hour, and was still in some pain, so the nurse then injected me with some demeral. I then slept for another hour. I got up and ate, slowly. over like another two hours I ate half of a salisbury steak, and some ice cream. I also took a short walk. Maybe I pushed it a little too much, but I was ok at that point.
The rest of the day was weird. I spent it in cycles of sleeping for 15 minutes and being awake for 15 minutes. It was horrible. I also ate dinner at that time, which I ate really quickly, then I took a walk. Of course four hours later, with the same sleep cycle, I puked all over myself. Lets just say that the food was not very digested for being in my stomach for 4 hours.
But after that I didn't have any problems. I did the on and off sleeping for the rest of the night. I checked out in the morning and found out something very gross. I can't shower until I see the doctor, a week from monday. Yep, I have to be sponge bathed for a week and a half. Lets just say I am at about full ripeness right now.
Anyways that is all I can think of. I shall write more to thee later.
