Hi Matt: Found your blog thru Lord Admiral Radio poker podcast. Concept of podcasting while at the online table seems interesting. Downloaded that podcast, but got only the intro music. More recent podcast worked fine. Any idea what the problem is? Thanks

I also heard about this on the Lord Admiral podcast. I enjoyed listening to the reasoning and found that you have much better discipline than I would. You mentioned that you started with $25. i was curious as to what limits you played and what you used for grounds for moving up?

James, I think it is just the inconsistency of the server. Hopefully it will stabilize soon. Darius, I played on the lowest limits that Pacific (I think I said Paradise on the cast) had, 5c-10c or 10c-25c tables. I played tighter than I do now, which I think is a good idea for rookies. I used a starting hand chart from one of Warren's books. I moved up when I had 100x the big blind. So I moved up to .25-.50 when I had 50 bucks. That's way more aggressive than most would suggest. But I hadn't read anything about bankroll management. I'm not that aggressive now. But still I move up before most books say I should. I just move back down if my bankroll goes too far down. Thanks for enjoying the cast. Matt
