I actually just got a book from the library that contains Pilgrim at Tinker Creek, An American Childhood and The Writing Life.

My library seems to take a while to get newer books, and sometimes not at all. But we can usually request them from another branch that has a larger selection, so I will look for this one.

I am really loving this book. She writes about her Christian faith a lot more overtly here than in Pilgrim at Tinker Creek. And I think her writing in it is generally more interesting as well. I highly recommend it.

I should look for this; I read some Dillard for a creative non-fiction class, and really enjoyed her work.

Yeah, I don’t know if I ever told you how much I like it. This is one of the albums you gave to me on mp3. The first time I listened to it I fell in love instantly. I loved it so much that I immediately deleted from my hard drive so I would be motivated to buy it. I finally got around to getting it with some of my birthday money and I’ve been listening to it repeatedly since then.

I would definitely put this among the best albums of the decade.
