Here's a little challenge for you.
Daniel recently worked very hard to make an adorable drawing that I'm beaming with pride over.
Your job is to guess what it is a drawing of. Don't just guess "a boy" or "a dog": The subject of Daniel's drawing is very, very specific and familiar. Put your guesses in the comments (and please guess--this is going to be embarrassing if I don't get any comments). I'll post the correct answer sometime in the next couple of days.

I see he titled it Animated Film of the Year! I think he copied it from a DVD.

I haven’t seen the movie but I think he drew something from Toy Story 3.
I love the expression on the kid’s face! And the dog could be Slinky :)
I’m impressed that you can read what he wrote at the bottom. You’re on the right track, but you haven’t got it yet.
And Tony, I like your guess. We may try making a story about Edward Doghands.
I’ve had quite a bit of practice now at reading preschool lettering :)
I’m going with Up. Is that a balloon house in the bottom left? Oh, and “Up” in the top left.
