I think that we paid about the same, but we got way more back last year b/c we had more to write-off. Can't blame the tax laws for that.

It seems to me that people like us should benefit up front from the new laws, right?

A lot of what I saw on Fox News was that people are protesting the new budget and congress's excessive spending (repugnicans and devilcrats alike).

I actually had to pay a bit for the first time ever instead of getting money back. That's pretty much due to me making a lot more money last year though.
