Ten Questions About Books

Filed under: Home and personal, Literature — Kyle Email @ 04:33:12 pm

I came across this meme at Tension Treatises.

1. One book that changed your life:
Everyday Apocalypse by David Dark – It changed the way I think about Christianity and culture.

2. One book that you’ve read more than once:
Timequake by Kurt Vonnegut

3. One book you’d want on a desert island:
Timequake by Kurt Vonnegut – I just never get tired of reading it.

4. One book that made you laugh:
The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams

5. One book that made you cry:
Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls – I cried once when I read it on my own and once when my sixth grade teacher read it to my class.

6. One book you wish had been written:
Big Numbers – Alan Moore’s great, unfinished masterpiece!

7. One book you wish had never been written:
This is a tough one. I guess Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution, although it seems that ridiculous fad is finally dying.

8. One book you’re currently reading:
3001: The Final Odyssey by Arthur C. Clarke

9. One book you’ve been meaning to read:
Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events.

10. One book you’d like to write:
I have a few ideas floating around, but nothing definite yet.
