Flaming SpongeBob?
According to Dave Fridmann, The Flaming Lips are recording a song for the upcoming SpongeBob Squarepants movie. Being a fan of both the Lips and SpongeBob, this is exciting news. The weird, childish playfulness of SpongeBob seems to fit well with what Wayne Coyne and co. have been doing lately.

You have come a long way from the Soundgarden you used to listen to all the time. I like Soundgarden. I think Kim Thail should start playing again. Can you believe how popular Audioslave became? Good for Chris. I'm bored and wanted to give you my 2 cents.

Yes, my tastes have evolved somewhat. One of my favorite artists now is Beck. I know that you appreciated his music long before I did. I don't listen to Soundgarden anymore, though.
