The Con

Yes, I know, it seems like I'm all about comic conventions lately, but I honestly don't have anything else exciting to write about. I'm still unemployed and now I'm looking for a new place to live. So these are the things I have to look forward to. Two conventions Phil and I will be at in the near future with our new Brax stickers and offers of mediocre sketches are the L.A. Comic Book and Sci-Fi Convention on September 13th (also featuring Juliet Landau from Buffy and Larry Hama of G.I. Joe fame) and the 1st Annual Long Beach Comic Con. We're actually planning a webcomics gathering of some sort for Long Beach for fans and creators alike. More details on that to follow.

If you're looking for something cool to listen to, you should check out this special episode of Bagged and Boarded featuring SNL's Bobby Moynihan. It's great to hear Bobby talking about his journey to SNL and hear his stories about working on the show.

That's all I got for now. In addition to my current batch of TV shows (True Blood, Weeds, Nurse Jackie, Entourage, and wrestling) they just added the first four seasons of LOST to Netflix Watch It Now so I've been re-watching some of that. It's crazy going back to the beginning knowing what I know now. I'm starting to think maybe those guys really do know just what they're doing.
