If you haven't yet, be sure to send a note to Warner Bros here about Angus on DVD. I would use Warner Archive from the dropdown menu since that is the most plausible release and would require little effort on their part. You might get a form mail response, but do not be discouraged. Waves are being made. You can also let them know how you feel on Twitter. I'm still looking for some bigger guns in the internet movie world to back me up on this, but so far have had no luck. I guess they are busy. If you can help in some way, feel free to contact me.
I sent them a note. I related to Angus a lot as well. I could swear I've seen it on DVD though, years ago at a pawn shop. Maybe it was a bootleg of some kind. 
Had to have been a bootleg. There are a lot out there, just ripped from the VHS. I would be interested in getting a bootleg of the director's cut that aired on TBS and TNT a few times, but haven't found that.
