Forgot to blog about this. Last Wednesday I went with my friends Greg and Sarah to the "Once More With Feeling" Buffy Sing-A-Long at the historic Crest Theatre in Westwood as part of the L.A. Film Festival. It was a total blast. Everyone was singing along and having a good time.
Before the screening, we hiked up to Broxton street to see what was going on at the Transformers premiere. Things were dying down since the film had already started, but I did get my picture taken in front of the full size Bumblebee that was standing in the middle of the street. Greg has the pic so hopefully I'll get a copy soon.
The surprise of the night was definitely Joss Whedon and Buffy producer/writer Marti Noxon showing up. Joss didn't give any hints about upcoming projects, about which he is now saying he'll announce some tidbits at Comic-Con. I had an aisle seat so I gave Joss a high five on the way out. The other cool "celebrity" meeting happened in the lobby when I spotted Trent from Pink Is the New Blog. He was super nice. The Sing-A-Long is continuing a tour around the country and will be back in Pasadena in September. Check the site for dates and locations.
