I've been putting off finishing Six Feet Under for a long time. It's hard watching good shows that you know there aren't any more episodes for. But I finally watched the last couple episodes today. I know some people have said this show was weaker after the first couple seasons, but I disagree. I loved every episode. The series finale was amazing. The ending montage while Claire drove down the 10 was stunning. I honestly have never connected to a show more than this show. It definitely is the most honest look at death and loss I've ever seen. The family dynamic is the most real to me. Underneath all the crap and dysfunction, the Fishers still stick together and are a family. I can definitely relate to that. I'm pleased with the way they ended things. Here's hoping there can be another show as creative and genre breaking.
