Crazy Weekend

This weekend was pretty busy. Saturday morning I worked at the park. It was super busy. That night Jon, Grace, Justin, Michelle, and I watched The Bad News Bears and ate pasta. The movie was great. I laughed a lot. After that I helped Jon move a bunch of computers at his work and I didn't get home until about 2 AM. Yikes. Sunday was even more insane.

After church I went to my friends Josh and Rachel's wedding party. We also were having a surprise party for Phil that afternoon so I left the wedding party early and went over to Phil and Janlle's place to set up and be there when people got there. Most of the guests were coming over from the wedding party and almost didn't make it in time before Phil and Janelle got there. Luckily the suprise went off quite well and Phil loved it. Phil hasn't watched the LOTR extended versions yet because he has been waiting for all of them to come out so he can watch them all at once. As you can guess, it's pretty difficult to block out 12 hours to watch the whole trilogy when you are married and have a pretty busy life. So on Sunday we watched the whole thing. We started at 4:23 PM and finished at 4:08 AM. Out of everyone who was there throughout the event, the only people who made it through the whole thing were Phil, Phil's brother Dave, and me. It was AWESOME. It was so cool to watch the movies all together and watch the extended editions with someone who hadn't seen them before. Phil proclaimed it as his best birthday ever, so that was great.

Also, the Chargers beat the Colts! That's freaking sweet. Their playoff hopes are still alive but they have to beat the Chiefs this week. Lets hope if they make it to the playoffs they don't lose in the first round like they did last year. Enough about football though. I'm working like 14 days in a row so things are going to be crazy until the holidays are over. Good times.

I've thought about watching all three of those movies in a row, but never tried it. That's impressive.
