Outside the Box: A blog from Variety about movie promotional items they recieve. Man, this would be my dream. To write about movies and such and recieve a TON of free stuff in the mail. I got here because I was reading something about the goodie bags they give people at the Oscars. Check it out. It's insane. I gues when you make millions of dollars a year, a gift bag with $40,000 worth of stuff in it is no big deal. I had my first taste of a goodie bag when I went to Butt-Numb-A-Thon. I got a bunch of cool stuff, including some T-Shirts, hats, a couple Shrek bobbleheads, a buttload of posters, some movie books, and various stickers and stuff. My favorite piece was the Kill Bill keychain, which I gave to Grace and Jon, who would probably actually display it proudly in public. If you've seen the movie, you know what I'm talking about. Anyway, Harry said that the contents of our goodie bags represented a smidgen of the swag he was sent EVERY DAY. Man, what a life.

Let's see, today I will finally be able to send my laptop back to Dell. I've missed it terribly. I'm hopefully going to be able to get some school work done and I'm also working on the website for Andrew's band, Palmer. I'm listening to KCRW right now on iTunes. David Bowie is playing. That makes me happy.
