Seen and Heard

Here's some stuff I've found over the last couple of days and just haven't had the time to write about.

  • Here's some pictures of some props used in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, including the Firebolt. It doesn't look quite as cool as I imagined it.
  • This is the best explanation of RSS and XML that I've ever read. Definitely read it if you've been wondering what all the hubbub is about.
  • Mac sounds off on the gay marriage issue. My favorite quote: "Follow my logic: all U.S. marriages are civil unions, but only some are religious unions. Therefore, not all marriages are religious unions. You see where I'm going with this? My marriage is not a religious union. We didn't get married in a church. We were not married by an ordained minister or whatever. Yet we are still married. Ergo, this is really a civil union issue."

's all I got right now. Honzo and I played Gunbound over at his house last night and he got a Knight, but when he went to paste his screenshot he hit the print screen key for some reason. It was cool though. We also played a game of Invasion on Unreal Tournament 2003. It was nuts. Basically you have to fight off wave after wave of these crazy alien creatures and they keep getting harder and harder. We made it through 13 waves. Honzo did most of the work. I kept getting separated from the rest of the team and would end up in a pack of alien bad guys. It was fun. Even though there wasn't much time to vote, I'm still going to announce Chester of the Week today so we can continue with our schedule for the Chester of the Year voting, which will begin tonight, so stay tuned for that.

I love (not really) when people use “ergo” instead of “therefore".

I reminds me of the Mr. KFC saying it durring his speal.
