Adam brings up a good point. If we are truly going to call for the end of torture, we need to call for it to end everywhere:

One only has to go to the Amnesty International page for

Israel & the Occupied Territories

to see that the presence of torture exists in Israel & Palestine - torture committed by Israeli troops and police, against Palestinians.

Torture is not acceptable - no matter who it is by and who it is against.

Torture is unnacceptable.
