Two of my favorite "Christian" authors have been labeled heretics! Read about why Donald Miller and Anne Lamott are going to hell, because they use the "F word". One of the comments on the Anne Lamott post even questions Philip Yancey's salvation! Must be nice to have such a clear understanding of who is going to hell.

Brandon, at a badchristian blog, responds better than I can, and has some great thoughts on the use of language.

I mentioned this before, but it was one of the posts that disappeared. So I will mention it again. If you have not read Traveling Mercies by Anne Lamott, you need to. And if you have not read Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller, you should!

UPDATE II: Also...check out this great article on Anne Lamott in Christianity Today. This article "proved the point" of the author of the above posts regarding Miller and Lamott.
