Musings of a Punk Rock Father

I aleady posted the tentative tracklist for my compilation of Chicago bands, Viva Chicago, Volume 2, so here's the tracklist for Volume 1. I have two Cheap Trick songs in a row, which I don;t want to do, but I love both songs immensely. Plus, I know there must be other Chicago punk bands from the 70's that I can get my hands on. I want to add a Shadows of Knight track to the beginning of this; I have the "Gloria" LP and their "Live at the Cellar" LP, I just need to get the from vinyl to mp3. I just sold my good receiver on eBay, so I'm still trying to figure out my turntable setup with the new system I bought. Mostly my problem is with grounding the turntable. I used to be able to ground it into my old receiver, but I can't do that with the new one. I think I also need to buy a phono pre-amp.
