It was early in the morning six years ago today that brendoman.com was born. I still find it amusing that the first actual news story I posted was about a man who had his penis bit off by a dog. I really started off on a high note with that one. Yes, our posting frequency has dropped off a bit since the glory days but we're still going strong. We're not in college anymore and no longer have all that free time on our hands. I mean, come on, 200 posts in January 2004? I don't even know how we did that. I'd also like to let you guys know that brendoman.com: the book is still in the works. I'm still clipping posts in Google Notebook but the work has definitely slowed down. It just might happen this year.

Today is really a day to celebrate all the authors past and present and you, the readers. I want to thank all of you for making this little spot of the web the community that it is. I'd also like to give a special shout-out to Danny. If I'm the rapper, he's definitely the DJ behind all this business. Here's to all you guys, and many more years of awesomeness.
