Not sure if you're registered to vote at your current address? VotePoke will check and make sure. If you aren't registered it will help you do so. Primaries are rapidly approaching so make sure you're able to participate!

If you need some more motivation, here's a video from Ed Helms and that McLovin dude:

I'm convinced. More at Declare Yourself.

Juno is the #1 Movie in America

Juno is currently the #1 movie on the box office charts. It's doing a couple hundred thousand more than National Treasure 2 and is on almost half the screens. I'm normally not a box office numbers guy but I think these numbers are important because they show that a quality small movie can be hugely profitable and not just something for the art house crowd. I've been saying this for years and I'll keep saying it: We (film goers) vote with our dollars. When crappy movies make insane amounts of money, it only makes sense that the studios are going to keep churning them out. Juno's numbers give me some hope for the average movie goer. Hopefully this will continue.

Woo Hoo! I Won Something!

I've always been a sucker for entering contests but I never really win anything. TV Squad has been doing contests for a lot of cool TV DVD sets where all you have to do to enter is comment on the post about the contest. I've been entering them for several months now and I finally won a Young Indiana Jones Chronicles DVD set! Those suckers are expensive so I'm pretty stoked about it. Just thought I would share and encourage others to check out the contests. Right now they've got ones going for The Tudors and Battlestar Galactica - Razor. All it takes is a comment, so go for it!
