I just got back from the store and ate some chips and salsa con queso. So delicious. Did I mention I went to the store 20 minutes ago.

So I went to the store, and while I was there I saw a guy with a shirt that said "Tom Is Not My Friend", and immediately I thought, someone who buys their shirts from the same website I do. Wonderful.

Anyways, it is Wednesday and I am finally getting around to writing about the weekend.

Saturday we celebrated my mom's birthday. What did we do, eat a lot of food. That is right, eat a lot of food. My mom said she would buy the food, so long as her children made it. So what did we do, well make food. This was the menu, maker in parenthesis:

Orange Slush (Clarissa)
Cheese Fondue with Bread(Me, Bart, Becky)
Stuffed Mushrooms (Me, Jeremy)
Rolls (John)
Minestrone (Me)
Chicken Cordon Bleu (Bart)
Black Bottom Cake (Becky)

That is all the food I can remember, it was really delicious and I was stuffed when I was done, and my mom enjoyed it, and everything tasted good.

I bought the new Tool CD. Buy it if you only buy it for the artwork. I think it is worth it.

Of course I follow that paragraph with Church on sunday, was interesting. I need to prepare my lessons a whole lot better, one church it went fine, the other church I was thoroughly unprepared. I feel really bad when my class misbehaves. When my class misbehaves I feel as if I am not teaching effectively enough, because I have to deal with disciplinary issues. Then again, I still have not had the problems that I had to deal with when I taught in South Gifford Missouri. That was a lot of fun.

This week at work has been interesting, I want to say things are speeding up, but everytime I do it seems like things slow down, not enough to get scared, but slower. Money is still going out the door, so I feel good.

Today when I got dressed I put on a clean shirt or so I thought. I put it on, run to work and when I get there I look down ant my shirt and it looks like something with a huge paw has stepped on my shirt, perhaps a bear. I mean, when I put it on I believe it was clean, and it isn't anything that I put on my shirt. I mean really it looks like a frickin' bear or ginormous dog stepped on my shirt. It is kind of funny.

Watching NBA basketball I wonder how Clifford Robinson is still in the NBA. Also, the Phoenix Suns are really fun to watch.

With that being said I am going to watch the Amazing race.

So I ended up watching this while doing laundry at Ric's parents' house over the weekend. I have to admit, I always thought I'd hate it, but there was actually a level of charm to it. Maybe it's my weakness for Sally Field (since I was a huge Gidget fan), but really I think the movie kept a good sense of humor and kept on moving.

Quickplot: a loudmouthed sheriff trails a bandit on a road trip to deliver a bunch of beer a long distance away in a short number of hours.

Now, I really didn't like Jackie Gleason all that much because he was such a one-note character, and the movie, while quick-paced, got a little bit repetitive in the area of the chase scenes, but the interaction of the three main characters was enough to make it enjoyable.

By the way, now that Reynolds' face is all weird because of plastic surgery, people try to say that he was once a good looking guy. He wasn't. But he did have charisma.

I'm updating the youtube plugin, or maybe creating a separate plugin. Either way, the goal is to support more video services. I've already added ifilm at gringo's request. So, you just type [ifilm]ID[/ifilm] and replace the ID with the actual number ID for the video. Basically, this gets around the html checker. What other video services do you want to use?

I know that the checker can be a pain, but it's very important and we can't turn it off. It's the reason that the site hasn't been hacked. It verifies that code in the comments and posts isn't malicious. And it keeps you from posting code that might break your layout. Generally it's not hard to fix up code from a quiz site or whatever to make it valid. Make sure image and break tags are self closing (e.g. <img /> instead of <img>). If you need help with a bit of code, email me and I'll sanitize it if I can. Or, paste it into the W3 validator and it will tell you what's wrong with it. All embed tags are, as a rule, not allowed in b2evolution. It's a security thing, but we can use plugins like this one to allow specific things.

The idea of it all is to balance a positive, powerful blogging experience with secure and clean code. So, which video services do you want me to add to the plugin?

Just got through my final final. It was genetics, so I was done in 20 minutes. Not because I knew it though.
