Lucas and I have signed up for Netflix for the summer. Unlike the one month subscription we had over Christmas, we have more time and won't need to cram up to 3 movies in a day. Any suggestions for movies to add to our queue?

So the browser shut down when I was almost done with my post. Grr. I think I was apologizing that I hadn't posted in a while. I got busy at work and forgot about the blog for a bit.

Just to re-cap the weekend, Friday Gron and Justin had a Cinco de Mayo party, full of people we knew, people we didn't know, pinata battling, good food, and hanging out. It was great to see the friends we hardly get to see. I have tons of embarrassing photos of encounters with the pinata and its prizes, to be posted sometime this week, hopefully.
Saturday, I worked out, washed hair, did laundry, bridal shower shopped, and then Ric and I headed down to Laguna Niguel to hang out with Colin and Liz. We went to the Cheesecake Factory and then had ice cream at their apartment, which is very nice, by the way. They are a really fun couple. It's always amazing to hear Colin's stories about Iraq and the attack he survived, and to hang out with a couple who are so obviously in love.

Sunday Ruth and I went to our hairdresser Jo's bridal shower. Most of the people there were other girls from the salon, but we still had fun eating pizza, winning prizes, opening gifts, taking photos, and listening to salon stories.

Yesterday, the office went out for our May birthday lunch. I'm one of the planners this month. It's more work than I thought! But it's still fun. Next week we have the office party on Tuesday, and I've got some fun things up my sleeve for Joy's birthday on Monday. :) Looking forward to it.
So all in all, it's been pretty hectic lately, but full of good times with friends, which is always worth it in the end.
