Look in the left sidebar and you'll see another new plugin for the blog. A poll! I ported this plugin from a Wordpress plugin called Jal Democracy. It's simple to add a poll in the backoffice Tools tab. It uses AJAX to send the vote and load the results without reloading the page. The part that I added was multiblog support. So, we can each have a different poll on our blog. I added one to my site. If you're interested in having one on your own site, let me know and I'll drop the code into the skin you're using.

Another fun feature is the Who's online box on the left. You can edit your user settings to tell it whether you want your name to appear in that list when you're online and whether you want people to be able to email you using the little envelope icon link. It uses a message form so that your address isn't made public.

I've got a plugin installed that checks comments and publishes them if it thinks they're good and deletes them if it thinks they're bad. So, comments don't have to be approved by a human at this point. I also have a plugin installed that checks IPs against a list of known bad proxies. It's already blocked over 500 visits in the last 24 hours.

I also have spell check working for the comment form on the main blog and on my site. Let me know if you want that on your blog.
