And it's due in TWO TO THREE MONTHS!!
That's right, I've got a lot of expectant reading material to go through, as seen here:
I've got to pin down a color within 72 hours of this afternoon (which is when we finally ordered my Mini S). Tell me what you think, blue, or green:
Both colors are metalic and more vibrant in person. The blue's nice and electric, very peppy. The green is a little bit more sophisticated, yet still sporty.
I can't believe we finally ordered it! I'm very excited. The Mazda is starting to fade, so with that and the smog check issue, we thought it was time. I got to test drive a regular Cooper and an S, and when we felt the difference between the two, we knew we had to get an S. Awwww... So now we tell them any little extras we may have missed in the whirlwind of ordering and then we wait 2-3 months for it to be made and shipped. Wohoo!
From The Guardian:
Thank you, Gene Simmons, for demonstrating to us the difference between fiction in reality. In fiction, Jack Black can infiltrate an exclusive private school, teach classically-trained musicians the way of heavy metal, and inspire all those he comes in contact with. Gene Simmons tries the same thing for a reality show, and meets with somewhat less satisfying results. Here's what one student had to say:
Even the lucky young people done the favour of getting to meet old Gene seemed to hate him by the end of their stint. 'The Class', as they were dubbed, were nothing more than 'puppets for the TV peeps'. This escalated matters to a head at the Motorhead concert The Class supported. The whole 10 of them rebelled after Gene Simmons, preposterous clown extraordinaire, made one of the girls cry by telling her how deficient her swagger was, and why couldn't she just emulate Mr Simmons?
Awesome.
Lucas and I returned from Colorado on Monday with a new apartment waiting for us when we move out there. We used an apartment finder, which made things a lot easier. We looked at 4 places, and decided on the Estates at Tanglewood in a span of about 6 hours. We are pretty excited about the new place...it seems to use the available space a lot better than our current apartment. The new homestead is located in Westminster, CO, which is a northwest suburb of Denver. Lucas and I will each have an 18 mile commute, in opposite directions. We really couldn't get much more centrally located than this place. We took a few pictures of the model apartment and posted them here. Ours will look almost exactly like that, except for the kitchen area will have hardwood floors, black appliances, and cherry cabinets instead of those in the picture. Move in day is planned for July 23. ~Kelly

Say hello to the new Brendomobile. It's a 1995 Plymouth Neon Highline. It only had 48,000 miles on it and it checked out on Carfax. I was going to play some games today with Honzo and Danny, but this came up and we jumped on it. Thanks to my new job I will be able to afford the payments and the insurance (which I got a great deal on thanks to my good driving record). So hooray for all that stuff!
