So I'm tying to get my router working with my mom's DSL. I plugged the DSL modem into the router and the router into the computer. All I got was a TCP/IP error. When I tried to repair it and restart it would just give the same message. So I gave up and plugged the DSL modem back into the computer. Now it appears my mom's DSL is broken. I didn't change any settings or anything. Gah.

My brother Mike is in a pop group (aka cover band) with his school that tours around North America putting on shows to promote the school. He plays lead guitar in the band, as you can see on the right. The FC Friends will be performing at the North Kansas City high school on Saturday, May 29, at 7 pm. Click here for a map.

For all who are interested, here is a paper I finished for school last week. It is about studying comic books in an educational environment, and it covers a brief history of comics in America, the intellectual process of reading comics, and applications for the classroom. Remember the Baby Robins I posted about previously? Well, it seems that when I claimed our dogs can't get behind their doghouse, I underestimated their resourcefulness. I came home on Thursday afternoon to find their doghouse pulled out a couple of inches from the deck railing, and the birds' nest in pieces. Erika and I were both saddened and sickened by this turn of events, but we eventually decided that our dogs are probably not evil, and that eating defenseless animals is simply their nature. Still, we can't help but be disappointed.

I just found out that since I helped test out MT 3.0 I will be getting a "significant discount" on a personal license. Our discount codes arrive next week and then I will know how much it is. So now we won't have to raise as much money. Hooray!
