Last night, I finally realized that this 2-hour-a-day Dawson's thing is getting ridiculous. So I decided to watch today's episodes and call it quits. (Don't congratulate me yet.) I looked up the episode guides for the rest of the season and realized that there are only 6 episodes left. That's only 3 days! What do you think I should do? Should I quit now and risk regretting not making it through 6 seasons, or should I watch the remaining episodes and risk being even more bored with the horrible plot lines than I already am?
I'm in the airport at Albuquerque, New Mexico. Free WiFi in the terminal rules. The flight from KC was pretty cool. I sat next to two gals who were also heading to Coachella. I've been reading the summer preview issue of Entertainment Weekly. Lots of stuff to be excited about. I'll write more later probably. Jeri, if you're reading this, my flight got delayed 20 minutes.
Great news, the Tour de Midwest has added a stop: 1.5) We'll be staying one night in Macon, MO, with some other friends from Truman, Joe and Amanda. Joe was one of the first people I got to know at Truman, he led the small group where Sara and I met. He is also a rock star. We haven't stayed in touch very well, so it will be great to catch up.
NewYorkish: Madonna: Without Makeup
This is definitely one of the nastiest celebrities without makeup pictures I've ever seen. You've been warned.
Apple: Pepsi iTunes promo pulled in 5 million songs
Out of the 100 million Pepsi caps that contain a code for a free song download on iTunes, only 5 million have been redeemed. The promotion ends today. Man, where are all those caps at? 95 million free songs are just sitting around somewhere.
I'm wearing my contacts right now. I'm going to be wearing them this weekend because I've had bad experiences wearing glasses at concerts in the past. Also, it's going to be really hot and that means my glasses are going to be sliding off my nose and I hate that. Anyway, it's been a while since I wore contacts. My glasses make everything look smaller, so now that I'm wearing contacts everything looks much larger. My laptop screen is a good example. I just thought that was weird.
In other news, I have created a bunch of Linda Cardellini obsessed nuts thanks to our regular Freaks and Geeks watching. I think her and Anne Hathaway are at the top of my list now that Katie Holmes is engaged.
Click on the link to see Entertainment Weekly's exclusive look at Christian Bale in the suit. Looks pretty cool if you ask me.
If you thought I was the only one....
5. Top 5 Nestle and Ralston-Purina Combinations
This is an anomaly in an otherwise unfunny site. Two stock brokers trying to be funny: it won't take any insider tips for you to know how funny the rest of this site is. (Or isn't).
Don't check out The rest of the site
4. Ethan's Top 5 Stupidest Lines from The Rules
Okay, so this guy wrote a book I've never heard of about Urban Tribes (something I also know nothing about, considering I live in Adrian, MO). Some of his lists are on the dry side, but this one is hilarious.
Check out What this guy's book is all about, then tell me. I'm interested, but otherwise engaged (i.e. watching Dawson's Creek)
3. Top 5 Movie ***Holes
The premise for this list is great: What is the comedy equivalent for a drama's villain? The ***hole. As Badmouth explains, "a great comedy requires a great ***hole--not a true villain--but a person who is so instantly dislikable, that we don't mind when they are tormented the rest of the movie."
Don't check out The weird and somewhat disgusting thumbnails on the left side of the page
2. Top 5 Lists about the Top 5 lists in High Fidelity
Talk about meta-communication. (Little inside joke for all the COMM majors.) Anyway, this site urges you to "Send us your most grossly oversimplified ways of looking at the world, and we'll post them here." I wonder where I could find material like that.
Check out The list of the top 5 clips most likely to be seen on home video shows
1. Top 5 lists at Rockcritics.com
I've found another time-waster. Here, you can view lists and even submit your own. Hours of enjoyment had by all (or at least by all the cynical wannabe musicians with obscure taste in music and doubtful level of skill).
I especially enjoy the "Five Least Favourite Uses of Pop Music in Advertising" and "Five Records You're Proud to Own But (Secretly) Never Listen To"
Check out "Five Examples of Mangled Grammar or Factual Inaccuracies in Song Lyrics"
(Van Halen's Why Can't This Be Love? "Only time will tell if we can stand the test of time."
I originally posted this here, but I figured I would post it for everyone to enjoy.
So far most of what I've read about Van Helsing has been baaaad news. Even the fanboys aren't biting on this one. I'm still going to check it out.
Big Fish came out on DVD this week. I'm buying it when I get back from Coachella. Speaking of Coachella, I really hope those Radiohead cancellation rumors aren't true. It's coming down to the wire and there's no official word, so hopefully they are on.
iTunes 4.5 is available for download. They're giving away a different free track every day this week. Today was Avril Lavigne, but there are some decent artists on the upcoming freebie list. My favorite feature is the ability to watch movie trailers and music videos in iTunes through the music store. With our T1 connection here, those things load up in no time.
Darren Aranofsky is slated to direct the Watchmen movie. This is exciting. If you haven't read Watchmen, do it now. Even if you've never read a comic book before in your life.
That's all I got for now. I'm not feeling to well. I think I'm going to go to bed early. I don't think I've been getting enough sleep. I have a plane to catch tomorrow, so I better rest up.
Here's a fun and potentially useful little program. Neotrace Express lets you put in a domain name or ip address, and it will map the path that data takes from your computer to that address. For instance, I put in brendoman.com and the map shows my data going from Kansas city to Dallas to Anaheim to Baltimore to LA. I've often wondered what path data takes from a server to my computer, and this program can show you. There is a paid version, but Neotrace Express is freeware.

I was just thinking this morning, what if I'm visiting the National Mall in DC sometime soon and I need to get online? Would it be possible? Would it be free? Thanks to Openpark.net the answer is yes and yes.
But seriously, wi-fi is becoming pretty prevalent. Airlines are starting to install hotspots for in-flight access, it may soon be used like GPS, and even in my little town I'm seeing access points pop up all over. Let's hear it for IEEE 802.11b!
I just felt like using a random song title. Gringo got me on a Tears For Fears kick. I'm currently listening to a band called AM/FM. I downloaded a couple of their songs on Epitonic.
Posts from me will most likely be non-existent this weekend since I'll be out of town and away from a computer most of the time. So the rest of you guys need to pick up the slack.
If you're looking for a good read, pick up the new issue of Wired. Good stuff.
Comics wise I read Alan Moore's From Hell in three days. Good stuff. I also read volume 4 of Powers, the new issue of Daredevil, and some Transmetropolitan. Now I'm reading The Punisher: Welcome Back Frank. I don't know what I'm going to do without Tim. He's been my comic book hookup these past couple months. I hope I can buy comics in China.
I'm spreading the gospel of Freaks and Geeks through campus. It's been fun. We've been watching episodes in Tim's room.
Check out the Coachella set times. It's going to be a busy couple days, that's for sure.
This is mostly for my future reference, but here is the Coachella site map. I'm not sure if it's a mistake or not, but Beck is listed on the Gobi Tent lineup for Day 1. That would be pretty sweet if he's really going to be there.
The fan on my laptop still isn't fixed. The parts place sent the wrong part.
Other stuff: The Thursday show was fun. The only thing that sucked about it was this sucky hardcore band called Poison the Well. I mean, I have nothing against hardcore bands, but these guys just didn't do it for me. The guitars weren't nearly what they could have been, especially for having two guitarists. The drummer was pretty good. Everything else was weak sauce. Don't get me started on the vocals. The second band that played was really good though, but I forgot their name.
I have a lot of stuff to do. Since I didn't have my laptop today in class I was able to write my next China newsletter. So that's good.
I'm posting this from my computer running Mandrake Linux. All I had to do was plug the network cable from the router into the back of the computer and it was online. It's so easy that I'm almost disappointed. I remember hooking this very same computer to the ethernet in Centennial Hall at Truman State. It was my sophomore year and they had installed the network over the summer. I went to Staples and bought a $30 network card and a $15 cable. I plugged in all the cables and . . . nothing. I spent the next 5 hours installing protocals and tweaking settings. Now it's so easy that it takes the fun out of it. Next project: install Firefox on this computer.
I'm sitting at my kitchen table writing this post sans wires. Our SBC dsl is running and the wireless router is working fine. Next project: Getting my Linux computer online. Huzzah!
I just got done refing 5 hours of intramural basketball. It was good fun, but the floor we play on is like running on concrete, with absolutely no coushin. It really stinks. So imagine what it is like to do that for five hours. On another note, Unreal Tournament 2004 is quite possibly the greatest first person shooter ever. Well at least in my humble opinion.
Sara and I are planning our vacation. We're planning on going to 1) Brendan's graduation in Moberly, MO. Then 2) we're heading up to Kirksville to see some friends we knew from Campus Christian Fellowship. Then we're heading to 3) Kearney, NE, to see Brandon and Keri. Finally we're stopping in 4) Omaha, NE to spend a couple of days going to the zoo and stuff. Here's the thing that's kind of funny. We're trying to decide on what hotel to stay at in Omaha. One of us is leaning toward a place with free wireless internet in every room and the other wants to stay in a hotel that looks like a castle from the outside. I won't say which of us is pulling for which, because I want you to be impartial. Help us out by posting a comment giving your opinion. It probably won't affect our decision, but it could be a fun discussion. Also, feel free to speculate about which of us wants which accomadations.
Coachella the hottest ticket on the web - NME.COM
Tickets for Day One of Coachella featuring Radiohead, The Pixies, and Kraftwerk have sold out and are selling for $400 on E-Bay. Day 2 tickets are expected to be sold out in the next couple of days. Jeri and I are going. I'm sitting here looking at my ticket and thinking how cool this is going to be.

ThinkGeek :: LAN Party: Hosting The Ultimate Frag Fest
This looks like a book we could definitely use. I do think our LAN parties have improved greatly over the last couple years. The wireless hub has definitely made things a lot easier. I just realized today that we could probably use my desktop as a dedicated server. Maybe we should try that next time.
I've been using BugMeNot.com for awhile now. Basically what it is is a database of generic usernames and passwords for sites that requre registrations such as the New York Times. Now they have a handy bookmarklet that allows you to get a username and password for the site you are at with just one click. All you have to do is add the link to your toolbar or your bookmarks.
Cheap Ass Gamer: Cheap video games, video game sales and video game deals.
Buy a GameCube console and add any $19.99 (or less) GameCube game to your cart and get it free.
Free shipping.
Now that's a deal. I'm glad X-Box prices went down, but for $149.99 you get one controller and no games. If I was going to buy a system right now, I'd definitely buy a GameCube.
"We are not reinventing it," says Jackson referring to the 1933 original film. "Our story follows the same structure. It satrts in New York, goes to Skull Island, and there's dinosaurs on the island. Then it comes back to New York and there's the Empire State Building and the biplanes and the whole thing."
I am really excited about this movie. So far cast wise there's Adrien Brody, Naomi Watts, and Jack Black. Sounds good to me.
Yahoo! News - Olsen Twins Sue Acclaim Over Video Game Royalties
I'm sick and have nothing to blog about. This is what I had to resort to. I overheard a conversation the ohter day where a guy was insisting that the Olsen twins weren't going to make it as adults. Dude, even if that's true, it doesn't matter. They could both go buy an island right now and just disappear. They've been making bank since they were babies.
My new nephew is going to be named Harrison Price. Now we're going to have to find as many Indiana Jones and Han Solo action figures as possible!
Busy weekend. Morgans were staying at our place, and Ric's grandparents were in town. I didn't see any movies. That's the first weekend in quite some time!
Well for all those who know me, I had worn the same pair of shoes for a while now, but I have finally retired them to not being worn any more. Here they are:

I have now replaced them with these shoes.

So anyways, now tha you have seen my super huge sized post, I will tell you about the LAN party last night. Let me just tell you, my team Dominated. Grant, Henry and I destroyed Gingo, Brendo, and Danny in just about everything we played. The won some, but we won the rest. Anyways, that was awesome. I don't have much more to say, but I may just put some pictures on later. So Peace out for now, and later we shall just go crazy with oodles of fun nuggets.
We're having a LAN party right now at Honzo's. Danny, Gringo, Smiles, and Grant are all in attendence. We played a ton of CounterStrike. Actually we're getting ready to play some more. This is probably going to be our last big bash ever with me around. It's kind of sad, but it's been a blast. Smiles and Danny both took pictures, so hopefully they will be up sometime.
I'm speaking at the Chinese church tomorrow about my trip to China. I'm a little nervous because this could be a very big deal as far as fundraising goes, but I'm also excited about it. So if you could send some thoughts and prayers my way, I'd really appreciate it.
Mmmmmm, LAN party. It's 9 pm, we've been playing most of the day. I can still see out of both eyes, so we're going to keep playing. And I will frag Grant.
No-Carb Eating Couple Booted from Buffet:
The general manager was carving the meat, and became concerned about having enough for other patrons, Johanson said. So when Amaama went up for his 12th slice, the manager asked Amaama to stop.
Offended by the request, the couple argued with the manager, then asked for a refund. The manager refused, and when the couple refused to leave, he called police.
"I really feel like we were discriminated against, I feel like we were treated unfairly," said Leota.
12 freaking slices of roast beef isn't enough? That can't be healthy. I mean, holy crap.
April 24th is 24 Hour Comics Day.
Comics leading theoretician Scott McCloud came up with the 24 hour comics challenge about a decade back. Simply put, a cartoonist tries to write and draw an entire 24 page comics story in 24 consecutive hours.
Since then, hundreds have tried, ranging from a 9 year old girl to some of the biggest names in comics.
I'm linking to my post on my test blog about Dave's post on Pat Tillman. If you're wondering why I'm doing this, it's to test trackback in MT 3.0. Also, I really like what Dave wrote.
I'm giving Ecto a whirl. It looks really cool. The only downside I can see to it is that you have to install the .net framework. There's actually an extended entry field, which is very nice. There's not as many built in HTML shortcuts, but it's really easy to create your own. This little tool definitely might give w.bloggar a run for its money.
Well I wrote this in Jeremiah class today. It may seem a little awkward but it is how I wrote it.
I cannot collect my thoughts enough to write much of anything. My brain is havin a hard time focusing. Every time I think of something to write a song pops in my head and I lose the idea. So really today I have had several ideas of what to write about, but I can't focus enough to put them on paper. Wow this is getting incredibly redundant. Why? Because my thoughts right now are only on what I cannot do right now. Maybe I should focus on what I can do, or what I should be doing, that would make things better.
So right now I am in Jeremiah class, and I should be taking notes. We are talking about discouragement and how preachers should learn how to handle it. I think I handle discouragement very well. I think I have a pretty good ability to disconnect myself from myself, if that makes any sense, and not take things too personally. I mean my whole life i have been picked on. It was pretty harsh at times and if I went into some deep depression or some kind of pity party every time it happened, I would be the most sorry person ever. But I have never been depressed. I have had days where I felt down but I have never been depressed.
I first read about this on the back page of the US News and World Report. It's not being covered very well in the mainstream media, but that's why we have blogs. Basically, it looks like some nations were buying oil from Iraq at cut rates and the money didn't have to go for food and medicine. This let Saddam spend money on what he wanted and let many Europeans get stinking rich. Some of them have ties to the French government and high level UN officials. Here are the links:
Food-for-oil claims shake UN - the Weekend Austrailian
Security Council welcomes oil-for-food probe - CNN.com
UN Oil for Food, or Oil for Corruption? - Aljazeera.com (for the Arab perspective)
What do you think?
Nicole just posted about Ecto for Windows and she really likes it. Kind of funny that I just posted about the new version of w.bloggar that is on the way. I'm definitely going to try Ecto out, but it's going to take quite a bit to dethrone w.bloggar as my blog client of choice. We'll see what happens. If anyone else tries it out, let me know.
If you want to know more about Movable Type 3.0, check out this post from Mena Trott, one of the creators. I for one am very pleased with the beta version I've been playing with. It's definitely worth the wait.
Okay, I know, many of you want to string me up after merely reading the title of this post. Let me explain: I'm a jerk. I'm cynical and somewhat of a music snob. In no way have I or would I ever pretend to be able to write a worship song, or any song for that matter, but I have been subjected to numerous worship sets which made me feel like laughing or puking. (Neither option is preferable when singing to the Big Guy.) Additionally, I am the director of our church's Worship Planning Team, so every week I consciously choose to let these and other songs which annoy me to be played, for the good of everyone else. So I am capable of group thinking. I just reserve the right to my opinion. And so do you. (So please tell me your own worst worship song).
5. I Will Not Forget You
I love Waterdeep. I think they are original and fun and somehow still serious and they usually move me in worship like nothing else. Here's the thing--I can't stand when songwriters want to use a word or phrase, then realize that using said phrase would mess up the rhythm of the song, but instead of rethinking the phrase, they add a word. In this case, the word is 'huge'. (As in, "a huge bell I ring"). I usually remain silent on this line or risk bursting into an inappropriate display of worship laughter.
4. Trading My Sorrows
Please don't kill me. I know that a lot of people love this song, particularly the actions (oh my goodness, don't get me started on action songs). This might be a little picky, but what am I if not detail-oriented? The bridge of this song includes the line "Though the sorrow may last for the night" and the music hits on each word in 'last for the night' in such a way that makes me think of hip-shaking. As in: Though the sorrow may last (stick hip out to right) for (to left) the (to right) night (to left). Get it? Anecdote--I was in a worship setting with my friend Marty and we were singing this song. We get to this part of the song, and, I kid you not, Marty does the hip thing. Completely his idea. I almost crapped my pants.
3.Draw Me Close Not a big fan of the emotional 'Jesus is sitting next to me' type songs. "I'd lay it all down again/ To hear you say that I'm your friend." Not so bad, I guess. Just wait. "You are my desire/ No one else will do/ Cause nothing else could take your place/ To feel the warmth of your embrace." What on earth does that mean? Grammatically speaking, we have a monster on our hands. To what does 'to feel the warmth of your embrace' refer? Peter, please back me up on this one.
2. Come, Now is the Time to Worship
This song is one of a few in a category I like to call "Ha, ha. You have to sing me first." For a Worship Planning Team director, this is maddening. Not to mention the weird chorus that doesn't seem to fit and the way we must all say 'come' at the end of the verse in an unnatural sing-whisper.
1. Your Love is Extravagant
I'm pulling out of the 'most recent' file on this one. My friend Hannah introduced me to this song, and when she sings it, it's great. She has a beautiful voice, and I can pretty much ignore whatever she is saying when she's singing. But when forced to sing as a participant, I found this song problematic. (Again, grammatically). "Spread wide in the arms of Christ/ Is the love that covers sin." No one told me we were moving back to Olde English on this one, and I spent an entire morning trying to figure out what I had just sung. I asked like 10 people what it meant, and understood even less when I was done. (I felt like a major idiot because it seemed like everyone else understood what we were saying. Maybe they just didn't care). Later, Danny explained that we were saying "The love that covers sin is spread wide in the arms of Christ." English majors.
Freebies:
Anything with the word 'river' in the title
This includes "Jesus Flow Like a River," "Let the River Flow," and "Dance in the River." My reasoning: no one can legitimately explain what the 'river' signifies. Seriously. Once, my friend Peter (whose list would be MUCH longer than mine) asked people why they liked a song with 'river' in the title. I believe he said, "What exactly is the river?" The answer? "Oh, you know, its Jesus and he's flowing through us. It's like the Spirit or something." Whatever.
Songs with lyrics that don't match the melody
Example: I Could Sing of Your Love Forever Here, we are singing a fun, happy verse, and then we move into the bridge with a depressing sound where we say, "Oh, I feel like dancing….." (Actually, this music makes me feel like crying.) "Like we're dancing now" (By the way, I have never seen anyone dance at this point. False advertising.)
**I Googled this topic and came up with nothing. So, from now on, when anyone wants to find the world's worst worship songs, they will see this list. So, if you want to be a world-famous jerk (and, really, who doesn't?), post your comments.

Rock And Roll Part 2
Well those are a few, if you think you have some, please comment.
This one comes from Boing Boing:
THE ENTIRE SILMARILLION OF J. R. R. TOLKIEN IN ONE THOUSAND WORDS.
Awesome. Totally awesome.
I could really use some help on this one. I want to read my news from an rss program, but I can't find one I like. My favorite so far was SharpReader, but it doesn't work on my computer anymore. Please, recommend some good programs.
I am not sure what is causing me to be in this crazy creativity rut that I am in, but I most definately am in one. Maybe my brain is not working the way it should right now for some reason. I don't get it. I used to think of all these crazy things. But right now it is just the same old stuff over and over again. So I think I need to read over the stuff I used to write. Maybe then I will get some ideas. So I am going to find some stuff to post on here. Maybe I will take some pictures with my digital camera and make up some crazy stories. Maybe I will do some flash project. Anyways, I am now going to post something I wrote a while ago. PEACE.
Sometimes I just don't know. What I don't know I am uncertain. Whatever it is I do not know.. My mind just starts wandering into random thoughts. They have almost no cohesion. There is almost no progression through them. They are as fleeting as the wind, and as cold as the snow and as bewildering as the platypus. They cannot be solved, but they all have and answer. They cannot be comprehended, but are fully understood. They cannot be taken away, but they go as they please. They are here and gone so fast that there is no rest for the one who thinks them. They make a nest in the mind and then abandon it for the next thought so that the one who is thinking must constantly cater to it. They demand all the attention of the one who thinks it but do not stick around long enough to receive the attention that they so deserve. They are like space for they are nothing but random thoughts with long spaces between each one. They are like the sun for they keep burn your brain into working overtime. They are like the earth for it is the only place you can dwell. They are predators, which hide in the daytime and attack you in your fatigue. They are comforters, which make you realize that you are still alive. They are jackals, who mock all your mistakes. They crawl into your mind cautiously, then walk around your mind proudly, then run rampant through your mind. The ones you do not like stick around, the ones you do like leave early, the ones you do like only bring the ones you do not. They party in your mind until the host is asleep.
So Brendan, did you read the supposed Batman script? What did you think? I read it on my spare time during work. I think it has potential, with a few too many flashbacks though. But it was interesting and a nice break from work.
I think I'll start reading books online more often.
I definitely want some of these. They aren't going to be out until this Fall though.
Yesterday was Robert Smith's birthday. Wohoo!
Today I'm going to see Morrissey at the Wiltern (yeah, Brendan, I figured out I was looking at the wrong dates, which is good). Fun times. I hope to not get killed by his rampant hispanic fans. Usually they come in the form of young Mexican guys who have pompadours and wear jeans with a white t-shirt, and of course, there is a pack of cigarettes tucked away in the roll of a t-shirt sleeve. The especially frightening ones have mustaches.
Next Tuesday I'm going to see Morrissey again.
Next Saturday I'm off with Brendan to Coachella for the weekend.
My Siouxsie and the Banshees show got postponed until September. I think I'm actually relieved.
Anyone notice I'm going to see a bunch of people who had their heyday in the 80s? Yeah, me too. But surprisingly enough, they're still generating music, and I actually still like it.
good: we got our tax refund check
bad: i smashed my finger in a drawer and had to cancel my first piano lesson in about 8 months
good: we bought a dyson vacuum cleaner. it is vacuum heaven.
bad: i discovered i have some sort of stupid thing where i can do complicated things in cars, but not simple. i stinking scratched the miata again, on a post in our car port. this is my 4th car related incident since i've gotten married. i think my brain is dying.
good: we went to see monster at the dollar theatre. i liked it even more the second time.
Check it out. I'm now a beta tester for Movable Type 3.0. I'm weary of upgrading our main MT installation to the beta version, so I'll probably wait until the testing phase is over to upgrade all the blogs to 3.0. The interface looks great and managing comments is going to be so much easier. They've asked us not to enable TypeKey comment registration on our blogs yet, but I'll let you know when that happens and you can try it out. I think it's going to definitely kick comment spam to the curb.
... and everybody knows today is Earth Day
Merry Christmas, Happy Birthday to whoever's being born
And now I'm trying hard to think of something
meaningful and worthy, kind of earthy
to make everybody ask themselves just
What are we doing here?
and what are we doing to her?
I don't know
What are we gonna do?
What are we gonna do?
What are we gonna do?
2041, the world is gonna end, I've got the message
from a tiny little man who only said that he'd been sent
I'm not a protest singer, I can't write a song to send a message
but it seems to me that this message needed to be sent
What are we doing here?
and what are we doing to her?
I don't know
What are we gonna do?
What are we gonna do?
What are we gonna do?
It's April 21st and everybody knows today is Earth Day
Merry Christmas, Happy Birthday to whoever's being ....
Tonight -- Thursday, April 22
Restaurants 6pm-10pm, Bars 9pm-12:30am
Downtown Fullerton
Tonight would be a great night to meet friends downtown for dinner and a drink!
The Fullerton Historic Theatre Foundation invites Fox supporters to enjoy 17 unique restaurants and bars tonight to help the Save the Fox effort. Restaurants will commit a portion of their proceeds tonight to our efforts, and bars will charge a voluntary $5 cover to go to the Fox. Participants will receive a “Fox Trot” sticker, so they need to pay any cover charge only once. This event will help raise the funds necessary to meet the City of Fullerton’s $1.65 million challenge grant in order to purchase the Fox Fullerton Theatre to save it from demolition.
There will be Fox volunteers at each participating restaurant and bar to answer questions about the Fox and take donations and memberships. For a flyer you can pass out to friends, visit our website and click on the Fox Trot link on the home page: www.FoxFullerton.org

This is one of the coolest Flash games I've ever seen.
I think our T1 is installed and working. The internet is fast and steady, which just might be a first here.
Why didn't I think of this one? Blender magazine is publishing its list of the Top 50 Worst Songs Ever. Care to share yours?
I found this over at the View Askew board. Be sure to go see the film in theaters this summer if it plays anywhere near you. The director's cut will feature deleted scenes that aren't found on the DVD.
PureCarnage, a guy I know from Chataskew, came up with this really funny reality program called The Swine. Check out the drawings. Funny stuff.
We're really enjoying the DSL at the office (Sara especially likes iTunes radio) and it's all working well. We couldn't decide if we could afford it at home, but Sara just got a raise, so we're going for it. I'm hoping to finally get my Linux comp online. Then I can forge ahead into the high countries of geekdom.
I'm on the air right now at WRST. I have a microphone that works so you can actually hear me talk!
